Proptrading is here - IQ Capital

Der Markt der Remote Proptrading Firmen hat vor einigen Wochen einen wichtigen Player verloren - MFF myForexFunds oder wie es betroffene Händler sarkastisch formulieren: MFF myFrozenFunds.

Forex and CFD providers enjoy very high popularity, especially among traders in the Arab and Asian regions, as the entry barriers are very low and the profit prospects are very high. A look at the subscribers of the social media channels of FTMO, The Funded Trader and Co. reveals the gap between the specialists in futures and Forex/CFDs. FTMO with 100,000 subscribers on YouTube alone and The Funded Trader with 62,000 subscribers. Even The5%ers come to almost 21,000. 210,000 users follow FTMO on Instagram.

Dagegen sind 7.090 Follower bei Instagram für Apex Trader Funding und 10.000 Abonnenten auf Youtube für das Team um Darrell Martin eher Regionalliga...

Futures vs Forex & CFDs

So the big business is done in the markets beyond real stock exchanges, which is also a miracle.

Now, far be it from me to make recommendations here from the multitude of CFD booths from overseas, let alone to promote them as an affiliate. A certain restraint, fed by common sense and many years of experience seems to be required here. However, it should not be overlooked that the majority of those interested in remote proptrading, conditioned by the local CFD industry, rather go for Forex and CFDs than compete in the Champions League, the trading of futures on the futures exchanges of this world. So when it comes to CFDs, for me there are only two companies that I can recommend without a guilty conscience. The Trading Pit and FTMO. About the reasons for the two I had already written here in the blog several times.

But if you want to choose one of them, the choice is not easy. However, I would like to give you a little help with the following comparison.

Accounts from $10,000 to $200,000 are available at FTMO.

FTMO Challenges

The Trading Pit reduces the offers for CFDs to 4 starting sizes. These are here from €10,000 to €100,000.

So something clearer and more streamlined.

The Trading Pit CFD Challenges

As a reference, I will use a $50,000 or €50,000 account. These are roughly comparable and the comparison is therefore quite fair. So let's look a little deeper into the offer.

Comparison The Trading Pit vs. FTMO

Was nun...?

At first glance, FTMO appears to be the more convenient option:

  • no time pressure in challenge and verification
  • static drawdown, so not breathing down your neck with each new account high
  • lower fee
  • Swing account for position traders possible

The Trading Pit scores with an attractive career plan and fast payouts after reaching trading goals. The initial account size can be scaled from €50,000 to €1 million.

In addition, the path to becoming a Funded Trader is shorter at The Trading Pit. The professional target is 10% in the Challenge, whereas FTMO requires a total of 15% in both levels.

Nicht zuletzt stellt The Trading Pit seinen Händlern den Zauberkasten von Dirk Hilger kostenfrei zur Verfügung - den Stereotrader.

By the way, this also costs € 29.90 per month in the purchase version. I myself have been using it since 2016 and no longer want to do without it when trading CFDs.

MT4 and MT5 terminals

On the screenshot of my VPS you can see the Metatrader terminals of both providers with Stereotrader. However, this is my own license. The tool runs flawlessly and reliably on both platforms. The advantages are undoubtedly the possibilities for trade management and the limit pullback order of Stereotrader.

Conclusion:

Sicher bevorzugen viele ein statisches, also festes Verlustlimit.
